Physical activity is natural to children and vital for their healthy development. But in today's
modernized societytv, computers, competitive sportsit is becoming difficult for some children to get
the exercise they need in a natural, healthy and enjoyable way. Our kid's yoga program provides your child with
simple exercise and games that can help him or her become:
stronger and more flexible
develop good coordination and posture
learn how to relax and concentrate
let out their energy in a safe and healthy way
learn self respect and compassion for others
Kids ages 8-12 will learn some of the basic postures and moves of yoga in a child-friendly context: We
will imitate human and animal behavior as well as create stories through yoga in order to better understand our
bodies as well as the universe in which we live.
Monday • Beginning April 7th 2008 • 4-5:15pm School age kids only. (Must
pre-register)
Fri. • 9:30-10:45am Pre-school age & older.
Only $5 if parent is enrolled in concurrent adult class.
