This three week program will introduce and reinforce the foundational teachings behind the asana or physical practice of yoga. Through this course the student will learn how to apply the principals of yoga into daily life in order to create peace and oneness within oneself. This series will enhance your life performance off the mat. Based in the Astanga system of practice.
Week One: Understanding our mental conditioning. Pranayama/Breath training and practice.
Week Two: Roadblocks to happiness and how to overcome them. Pranayama/Breath training and practice.
Week Three: The Law of Karma through mind. Yogic action in your life. Pranayama and introduction to meditation.
Requested fee: $30 for the three week course. Pre-registration is requested. Reading material will be provided for this class.
